This year’s Parkway District Championship was a rousing success, with one mother of a 3rd grade student stating, “This year’s tournament was put together much nicer than years past.” The chief tournament director for this tournament was Mike Kummer. The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis thanks the students and parents for participating in this event. This event could not have been such a success without Denise Farinella and Paul Schwent of the Parkway School District and their assistance with planning and organizing this event.
