1st Annual Steve Bange Memorial Blitz

The Saint Louis Chess Club will host "1st Annual Steve Bange Memorial Blitz ," a in-person over the board tournament to celebrate the life of the Chess Club's longtime friend, Steve Bange, on Sunday, May 29.

Format:

• 7SS, G/5 

• TD has discretion to appoint ratings for Pairing & Prize Purposes

• USCF required as event is USCF Blitz Rated

Registration & Entry:

• Entry fee: $10, $5 if registered by 7:00 Friday, May 28th

• Free for GMs and IMs

• Registration by phone or in-person only. Must call club at (314) 361-2437 or visit during business hours (12-9) 

• Registration ends at 4:00 pm on day of event

Rounds:

• Round 1: 5:00

• Subsequent rounds will begin after previous round ends

Prize Fund:  

• $500 UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED!!

  • Each Round one player will win $5 for an "All-Star Move"
