4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis is putting on its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in an effort to raise funds for our growing scholastic program. Since we opened our doors in July 2008, we have implemented a multi-level approach to make the game of chess accessible to students through afterschool programming, summer camps, field trips and our main campus.
Our programming helps deliver the benefits of chess to thousands of area schoolchildren and exposes developing students to the myriad of benefits chess offers including problem solving, planning, spatial awareness and critical thinking skills, just to name a few.
