The Saint Louis Chess Club will be hosting our weekly FAQ tournament online through Lichess.org!

Format:

Lichess rapid rated, NOT USCF Rated
3RR, G/10
Quads of 4 and a possible Small Swiss group

Registration & Entry:

Must be a monthly or annual member of the Saint Louis Chess Club
Registration ends on Friday 7/10, 5:30pm
No entry fee
MUST be a member of the Saint Louis Chess Club Discord server
- You will be required to check in through Discord 15+ minutes in advance before each round
- Pairings & real time tournament updates will also be posted on Discord

Rounds:

Starts Friday, 7/10 @ 6:00 pm
- No break between rounds
- 3 rounds of G/10

Prize Fund:

First in each quad receives a 1 hour online GM lesson
- Tiebreakers will be decided by an armageddon blitz game

OUR MISSION It is the mission of the Saint Louis Chess Club, an educational organization, to maintain a formal program of instruction to teach the game of chess and to promote and support its educational program through community outreach and local and national partnerships to increase the awareness of the educational value of chess.

POLICY ON RELATIONSHIPS AND INTERACTIONS WITH MINORS

The integrity of Saint Louis Chess Club’s relationship with minor players is paramount to the Chess Club’s educational mission and success. All individuals employed by or working under the direction or authority of the Saint Louis Chess Club are expected and required to maintain appropriate boundaries and relationships with minors (individuals under the age of 18 years) and are strictly prohibited from engaging in sexual misconduct, hazing and harassment.
