Summer Slam Bash (Scholastic Tournament)

The Saint Louis Chess Club will host "Summer Slam Bash," an in-person Scholastic tournament on Saturday, June 18.

Format:

• Open to students enrolled in grades 3 - 8 in Spring 2022.

• 4SS, G/30

• One section

• Limited to 60 players

• USCF membership required. Annual membership available on site for $20

Registration & Entry:

• Entry Fee:  $30  |  $10 if registered by 6/14  |  $5 if registerd by 6/7

• Registration by phone or in-person only. Must call club at (314) 361-2437 or visit during business hours (12-9) 

• Registration ends at 3:00 pm on Friday, 6/17.

Rounds:

• 12:00, 1:15, 2:30, 3:45

• Awards ceremony at 5 pm

• One ½ point bye available in any round if declared by 3:00 pm on Friday, 6/17

Prizes:  

• Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, top U800, top U600, top 5 unrated players, top female player.

Must pass COVID-19 screening to participate
