Royal Rumble Bash (Scholastic Tournament)

The Saint Louis Chess Club will host "Royal Rumble Bash," an in-person Scholastic tournament on Saturday, Jul 23rd.

Format:

• Open to students enrolled in grades 3 - 8 in Spring 2022.

• 4SS, G/30

• One section

• Limited to 60 players

• USCF membership is required. Annual membership available on site for $20

Registration & Entry:

• Entry Fee:  $30  |  $10 if registered by 7/13  |  $5 if registered by 7/3

• Registration ends at 3:00 pm on Friday, 7/22/22.

Rounds:

• 12:00, 1:15, 2:30, 3:45

• Awards ceremony at 5 pm

• One ½ point bye is available in any round if declared by 3:00 pm on Friday, 7/22

Prizes:  

• Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, top U800, top U600, top 5 unrated players, top female player.

Must pass COVID-19 screening to participate
