About Me
Thalia Cervantes is a Cuban-American Woman Grandmaster with one International Master norm. Over the years, she has participated in prestigious tournaments such as the US Junior Girls Championships, US Women’s Championships, American Cup, and the 2025 FIDE Women’s World Cup. Thalia has been a member of the Saint Louis Chess Club for ten years and has worked as an instructor for six, teaching a range of classes from summer camps to group lectures. Additionally, she is a member of the Saint Louis University Chess Team, pursuing her MBA.

Playing Experience
Thalia has played chess professionally for 15 years and traveled over 15 countries to participate in tournaments. Her two highest achievements are 3rd place in the 2022 US Women’s Championship and winning silver as a part of the American team for the 2021 Online Chess Olympiad.
