Scholastic Tournaments

The Saint Louis Chess Club hosts monthly Scholastic Tournaments year-round, and a Grand Prix from October through April. These swiss tournaments offer individual and team trophies for both monthly and GP prizes.

Each chess event offers three sections for grades K–12 and all skill levels:

Introductory Quads
K–6 Open
K–12 Open

Online entry is $10 per event. Each registration page includes the latest venue, US Chess membership, and partner-school details.

Photos may be taken at these tournaments by a STLCC photographer and used for marketing purposes.

SEPTEMBER 26 — AUTUMN CHESS REVIVAL

A one-day scholastic open for players in grades K–12, with K–12 Open, K–6 Open, and Introductory Quads.

OCTOBER 24 — HALLOWEEN HAVOC

A one-day Scholastic Grand Prix tournament for players in grades K–12, with K–12 Open, K–6 Open, and Introductory Quads.

NOVEMBER 21 — TURKEY TANGO

A one-day Scholastic Grand Prix tournament for players in grades K–12, with K–12 Open, K–6 Open, and Introductory Quads.

DECEMBER 12 — SNOWFLAKE CLASSIC

A one-day Scholastic Grand Prix tournament for players in grades K–12, with K–12 Open, K–6 Open, and Introductory Quads.

Grand Prix Award Ceremony
