This one day Scholastic Chess event will feature three sections for K through 12 students. It features a three round swiss open with two sections K-6 Open & K-12 Open. Beginners can play in our Introductory Quads to get experience with tournament play. This tournament will be rated by US Chess and provide all students with a national chess rating.

This is the first tournament in our 7-tournament Grand Prix. Students who participate in those tournaments are eligible for Grand Prix Awards and Prizes at the end of the season.

Join us this October 18th at McKinley High School for this exciting day of chess competition.
