Come to The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis every Saturday for a chance to play dual-rated chess!

Entry is FREE for members. Non-members must purchase a day-pass from the front desk.

Times: 10:30 AM, 12:15 PM & 1:45 PM
Players must check-in with the Chief TD 15 minutes prior to the round time in order to be paired.

Format: The Saturday Rated Games is a 3-round event. Players are able to choose which rounds to play with the option to enter late or drop out early.

Time Control: G/45;d3

Entry Fee: Free

Brilliancy Prize: Players may submit their notation sheets to the Chief TD to be eligible for a brilliancy prize. The winner receives a free chess book of their choosing from the Saint Louis Chess Club’s bookstore.

Rating & US Chess Membership: US Chess dual rated. Both Club and US Chess membership required.

Byes: Notify TD when taking a bye at least 15 minutes prior to the following round.

Registration Information
Online registration closes 30 minutes before the start of round one.

Players not registered online, but who would like to play MUST check-in with the tournament director 15 minutes before the start of round one.
