The Saint Louis Chess Club hosts a series of Grand Prix Tournaments for students during each school year. From September through March, students play for individual and team trophies during monthly Swiss-system tournaments. Over the course of seven tournaments, players and teams compete for season prizes and trophies.

Each event offers three sections for ages K-12 and all skill levels – Introductory Quads; K-6 Open; and K-12 Open. Held on Saint Louis University’s Campus, our scholastic tournaments offer the chance for students to test their skills against their peers and show off their team spirit.

Free US Chess membership for all new to tournaments. Ten-dollar entry for each event. Free entry for students of SLPS, Ferg-Flor, Jennings, and East St. Louis Schools.
