Jasmine Su

Women’s International Master Jasmine Su of Darien, Connecticut, made a successful debut in last year’s U.S. Junior Girls Championship, tying for fourth place. Taught to play by her father when she was seven, Jasmine, who is coached by Grandmaster Melik Khachiyan, has been making steady progress the past few years and is currently rated over 2300 USCF. Two of her recent successes are winning the 2024 North American Youth Girls Under 18 Championship and the 2025 Kasparov Chess Foundation’s All-Girls National Championships under 16 section.
