Feel the clock run down as ten elite grandmasters race through 135 games of rapid and blitz chess in five action-packed days. Day passes include standing-room tournament hall access, live Grandmaster commentary, and complimentary food, snacks, and beverages.
August 8 – 21, 2026
The Grand Chess Tour’s signature classical event brings ten of the world’s strongest players to Saint Louis for nine rounds and a $475,000 prize fund. It is the final regular-season chance to earn Tour Points before the GCT Finals.
One of the world’s strongest women’s super-tournaments returns with ten elite players, nine rounds of classical chess, and a record $250,000 prize fund. The Cairns Cup runs alongside the Sinquefield Cup at the Saint Louis Chess Club.
August 21 – 28, 2026
The season culminates in Saint Louis as the four highest-ranked Tour players battle through Classical, Rapid, and Blitz games in a knockout tournament for the GCT title and a $450,000 prize fund.
