Biography

Fide Master Rose Atwell is a Southern California native who is ranked 39th in the world on the FIDE Girls under 21 list. Rose was second in the 2024 U.S. Junior Girls Championship, finishing only half a point behind International Master Alice Lee who is not competing this year.

The best result of Rose’s career to date was her sensational performance in the 2024 North American Open in Las Vegas where she scored 6 out of 9 against a field averaging 2480, good for a performance rating of 2596!
