About Me

I'm 18 years old and will be starting college at SLU in the fall. I've been teaching chess for 6 months and have been playing competitively and casually for 7 years now.

Basic tactics and basic strategy, Opening fundamentals, basic checkmates, London System, Queen's Gambit, French Defence, King's Indian Defense

Good Student Match:

Adults or teens preferred, but more than willing to teach anyone who's enthusiastic about the game regardless of age or skill level.

Playing Experience:

Several dozen tournaments during Middle School. Team tournaments in High School for 4 years. Part of the Corporate Chess League.

Teaching Method:

I will work on whatever you need to become a solid and principled chess player. If you already know basic chess principles, I am more than happy to teach more advanced concepts to help to further improve your game.
