The Saint Louis Chess Club offers its Select Chess training program to qualified K-12 students with the objective of training them into titled chess players. Under Grandmaster Yuniesky Quesada, accepted scholastic players will receive in-person weekly group training sessions, one-on-one office hours, individual lessons, tournament preparation, and camps. Students will also receive supplemental homework assignments as part of the program.
Training sessions span an entire school semester, and will have a set roster. Students that wish to join must apply before the application deadline for the semester.
