The ending tour stop and signature event of the GCT circuit, the Sinquefield Cup continues its traditional classical format. Hosted annually by the Saint Louis Chess Club with a $350,000 total prize fund, the strongest tournament on American soil will be the final opportunity for competitors to earn points in the 2025 Grand Chess Tour. This event will feature nine full-tour players and one wildcard player.
Fans should make sure to catch all the action August 17-26 with our professional commentary team led by Yasser Seirawan via the Saint Louis Chess Club’s YouTube & Twitch channels.
For spectators in Saint Louis, follow the tournaments round by round with our Grandmaster in Residence as they analyze the rounds daily. Live commentary is open to all members and guests and includes complimentary snacks and beverages.
