The 2024/2025 Corporate Chess League Season will feature 10 matches—five in the fall and five in the spring—culminating in a Final Four event at the end of each session. Each match consists of three rounds, in which teams earn points based on their performance. Cumulative points are awarded at the end of each match. The winner of the Session I Final Four automatically secures a spot in the Championship Final Four, held at the conclusion of Session II.

Regular Season (10 Matches)
Duration: The league runs from fall 2024 through spring 2025, with Final Four events at the end of both sessions.
Match Structure: Each match consists of three rounds in a round-robin format.
Scoring:
- Win: 2 points
- Draw: 1 point
- Loss: 0 points
Cumulative Match Points:
- 20 points for a win
- 10 points for a draw
Final Four Format (Session I)
Round-robin match with top 4 teams.
Starting Points: Based on cumulative points:
- 1st seed: 4 points
- 2nd seed: 3 points
- 3rd seed: 2 points
- 4th seed: 1 point
Final Standings: The champion is determined by combining total points from the event with starting points. The winner of the Session I Final Four earns a spot in the Championship Final Four in Session II.
Championship Final Four Format (Session II)
The top three teams from Session II and the winner of Session I’s Final Four will compete in a round-robin match.
Starting Points: Based on cumulative points:
- 1st seed: 4 points
- 2nd seed: 3 points
- 3rd seed: 2 points
- 4th seed: 1 point
- Final Standings: The overall champion is determined by combining total points from the event with starting points.
League Fee
While providing a competitive, enjoyable atmosphere, this league fee covers participation (four boards per match) for Sessions I and II. Food and drinks will be provided for the players each match. Teams are welcome to bring additional players, who will compete in a separate division with points being recorded independent of the main session results. It is important to note the Club is collecting one $400 fee; thus, there is no additional fee for additional players in the separate division. The league payment is due prior to Match 1.
