Frank jumped into the event in Round 2 with a half-point bye and never looked back. He defeated fellow expert Kevin Dale Johnson in the final round to clinch first place and, more importantly, a spot in the 2010 Club Championship. Frank finished with a final score of 3.5/4.0.
Paul Mechem and Paul Goddard split the Class “A” prize with 3.0/4.0. William Nesham clinched the “B” prize, and Richard Fox benefited from a forfeit victory in the first round when Kevin Dale Johnson got stuck in traffic. Fox didn’t let the full point go to waste as he won the “C” class by a half point.
Richard Pointer transformed his recent success at the Friday Action Quad Series into a triumph at the November Knights. He finished with a plus score of 2.5/4 to finish 1st in Class “D”. Join us next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for the December Knights. The winner in December will also receive an automatic invitation to the 2010 Club Championship in March.
