Ashritha Eswaran

Ashritha Eswaran is an American FIDE Master originally from Northern California. She is currently ranked #16 among women in the U.S. as of August 2023. In 2015, Eswaran took first place in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship with a score of 6.5/9. She then took bronze in the 2015 Pan-American Youth Chess Championship, and went on to win gold at the 2015 Pan-American Junior Championship. This will be Eswaran’s 7th U.S. Women’s Championship. Recently, she graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a Master’s Degree in Data Analytics for Science. Currently, Eswaran is a data analytics engineer working full-time at State Farm.
