Chloe Gaw

Women’s International Master Chloe Gaw of New York City returns to St. Louis for her second U.S. Junior Girls Championship, having made her debut last year. A gold medalist in the Under 14 section of the 2023 Pan American Youth Girls Under 14 Championship, Chloe also won the Under 14 section of the Kasparov Chess Foundation’s All-Girls Championship the same year. A student at the Chapin School, she works as a tutor for NYC Chess Connections. Chloe defeated Grandmaster Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, the seventh highest rated player of all time, in a simul. She did it when she was eleven!
