Rochelle won the World Youth under 10 Championship back in 2016 and three years later, at the age of 12, she set a record which still stands. Rochelle became the youngest player to ever represent the U.S. national team when she competed in the 2019 Women’s World Team Championship in Kazakhstan.

More recently Rochelle, who is studying at the University of California Irvine, was second in the 2023 World Youth Chess Championship Girls Under-18 Championship. Last year she tied for 3rd in the US Girl’s Junior Championship with a score of 5 ½ from 9.
