2011 Saint Louis Invitational

The 2011 Saint Louis Invitational is a new event for the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis. It is a 10 player round robin in which strong players will slug it out to the very end. In addition, this is a wildcard tournament for the 2011 U.S. Championship and will be held in conjunction with the Saint Louis Open. With many GMs and IMs and $10,000 in prizes, the 2011 Saint Louis Invitational will be both strong and exciting. The real icing on the cake is that the top two finishers qualify for the 2011 U.S. Championship, to be held April 13 – 28, 2011, also at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis.
