6th Annual SLPS District Chess Tournament

Welcome to the 6th Annual Saint Louis Public School district-wide Chess Tournament! Students can compete for individual and team trophies in this free-to-play in-person tournament.

Registration is required to play. Please speak with your Saint Louis Chess Club Chess Coach or SLPS Principal to sign up. Transportation and Lunch are provided from your school to the event.

Players should select the appropriate section according to the following guidelines:

High School Quads

Middle School Quads

Elementary School Quads

1st Place Trophy for each Quad winner.

OUR MISSION It is the mission of the Saint Louis Chess Club, an educational organization, to maintain a formal program of instruction to teach the game of chess and to promote and support its educational program through community outreach and local and national partnerships to increase the awareness of the educational value of chess.

All individuals employed by or working under the direction or authority of the St. Louis Chess Club are expected and required to maintain appropriate boundaries and relationships with minors (individuals under the age of 18 years).
