Register now for December's Monday Knights tournament -- this month, featuring five rounds!
The Monday Knights tournaments are a great feature for those players who have the competitive itch, but not enough time to commit to weekend events.
Open to all skill levels -- regularly collecting both beginners and titled players -- the Swiss-style monthly tournaments feature one game/round every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m., creating a FIVE-round tournament that stretches across the whole month of December! The games feature longer time controls (70 minutes on your clock, with a 5-second delay per move), with cash prizes awarded to the top players in three different levels: Open, U2000 and U1600.
For added scheduling flexibility, players may request a half-point BYE for any Monday round they may miss -- even late-joiners may start play in week 2 with a half point!
Adding even more value to the Monthly Knights experience is all players receiving personalized Grandmaster analysis for each of their games! December's Monday Knights games will be analysed by GM Ben Finegold!
