2019 U.S. Senior & U.S. Junior Championships: Round 1

For the tenth straight year, the Saint Louis Chess Club is proud to host the U.S. Junior Championship along with the Girls Junior Championship for the third year running. For the first time ever, the Club is hosting the Senior Championship, featuring top players over 50. Three tournaments in one will have the tournament hall buzzing. The three in one Tournament will be a 10 player round robin with prizes totaling $80,900. Join GM Robert Hess, WGM Tatev Abrahamyan, and GM Jesse Krai for the move by move.

2019 Croatia Grand Chess Tour: Wildcard Announcements

The three Superbet Rapid & Blitz and two Tata Steel India Rapid & Blitz wildcard players are announced during Round 10 of the first-ever Croatia Grand Chess Tour. They will join the full GCT players on the sixth and seventh legs of the Tour.

OUR MISSION It is the mission of the Saint Louis Chess Club, an educational organization, to maintain a formal program of instruction to teach the game of chess and to promote and support its educational program through community outreach and local and national partnerships to increase the awareness of the educational value of chess.

The integrity of Saint Louis Chess Club's relationship with minor players is paramount to the Chess Club's educational mission and success. All individuals employed by or working under the direction or authority of the Saint Louis Chess Club are expected and required to maintain appropriate boundaries and relationships with minors and are strictly prohibited from engaging in sexual misconduct, hazing and harassment.
