Coming into the first day of Blitz Games, GM Wesley So was the leader of the Paris Grand Chess Tour Tournament but that quickly changed when GM Sergey Karjakin quickly took the lead after 9 rounds of Blitz Games. GM Hikaru Nakamura was coming up quickly behind Karjakin and it looks like it will be Karjakin and Nakamura fighting for the Champion title of the Paris Grand Chess Tour.
Wesley So has managed to stay on top of the leader board after the end of rounds 7-9 of the Rapid Games and heads into 18 rounds of Blitz games with the Kings of Blitz, Sergey Karjakin and Hikaru Nakamura. The Competition will heat up.
GM Wesley So is commanding the show at the end of Day 2 Rapid Rounds 4-6 as he comes out on top once again for the second day at the Paris Grand Chess Tour with Levon Aronian and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave close on his heels.
