Saturday Night Special

The Saint Louis Chess Club will host "Saturday Night Special," a in-person over the board tournament on Saturday, May 14.

Format:

• 4SS, G/10 + 2 second increment

• Quick ratings will be used for Pairing and Prize purposes

• Monthly or Annual Membership to the Chess Club and USCF is required

Registration & Entry:

• $25 Entry Fee

• Free for GMs and IMs

• Registration by phone or in-person only. Must call club at (314) 361-2437 or visit during business hours (12-9) 

• Registration ends at 5:30 pm on Saturday, 5/14

Rounds:

• 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:45

• One ½ point bye available in any round if declared before round 1

Prize Fund:  

• $2,000 UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED!!

  • 1st Place-$500, 2nd Place-$400, 3rd Place-$300

  • Top U2400

    • 1st - $150, 2nd - $100, 3rd - $50

  • Top U2001

    • 1st - $125, 2nd - $80, 3rd - $40

  • Top U1601

    • 1st - $90, 2nd - $60, 3rd - $30

  • Biggest upset: $75
