2018 Knights Championship

Format:

3SS, G/70;d5
2 Sections: Invitational & People's Championship
Tiebreaker game(s) will be played to determine Knights Champion

Registration & Entry:

Free entries for those that previously qualified through the Knight Series
People's Championship Entry Fee: $20 (one time fee for the entire 2018 Knights Championship tournament)
- Must be an Annual or Month member of the CCSCSL to compete
Free entries for GMs and IMs
Registration: Wednesday, Dec 5th, from 6-6:45.
- Rounds (one per week) 7:00 PM each Wednesday in December starting on the 5th.
- Check in with TD by 6:45 to be paired each week/round
- One ½ point bye available if declared before Round 2.

Prize Fund:

Invitational Section: Winner Receives free Family Membership to CCSCSL and a Diamond Pinnacle Crystal Award

OUR MISSION It is the mission of the Saint Louis Chess Club, an educational organization, to maintain a formal program of instruction to teach the game of chess and to promote and support its educational program through community outreach and local and national partnerships to increase the awareness of the educational value of chess.
