2021 Grand Chess Tour Promo

The dates for the first two events are in June.

The 2021 Grand Chess Tour will feature two classical and three rapid & blitz events, picking up after the cancellation of the 2020 season. Tour participants will compete for a total prize fund of $1.275 million, including $325,000 per classical tournament and $150,000 in prizes for rapid & blitz events.

2021 Superbet Chess Classic: Round 1

The second Superbet Chess Classic is the first leg of the 2021 Grand Chess Tour, live from the Sheraton Bucharest Hotel in Romania. Eight of the nine tour players are joined by two wildcards for nine rounds of classical chess. Join GMs Alejandro Ramirez, Yasser Seirawan, Cristian Chirila, Maurice Ashley, and IM Almira Skripchenko for the move-by-move.

All individuals employed by or working under the direction or authority of the Saint Louis Chess Club are expected and required to maintain appropriate boundaries and relationships with minors (individuals under the age of 18 years) and are strictly prohibited from engaging in sexual misconduct, hazing and harassment.
