The Grand Chess Tour started out in 2015 with three stops, the first being Norway Chess, then the Sinquefield Cup and last, the London Chess Classic. 2016 and this year, 2017 the stops along the way for the Grand Chess Tour have been Paris, Your Next Move in Leuven, the Sinquefield Cup and London Chess Classic.
The beginning of Round 2 of the London Chess Classic had all 10 players in first place with a draw each under their belts. Round 2 went on to be a repeat of Round 1's events in that there were drawn games on all 5 boards. All 10 of the Worlds Top Players are still in the lead for first.
